New EU regulations on Euratom safeguards

On 25 January 2025 the European Council approved a new version of Commission regulation on the application of Euratom safeguards.

According to the EU, the changes will clarify and simplify the rules and also aligg the regulation "with technological progress and developments in the nuclear sector."
