The map and the table show countries that have operational steady-state and pulsed reactors and critical assemblies that use HEU in their fuel. The numbers presented here include research facilities as well as reactors that use HEU to produce isotopes, naval prototype and training reactors, and fast reactors that use HEU. The numbers on the map and in the table do not include civilian and military naval reactors, which are listed on a separate page. Also not shown here are plutonium facilities and shutdown or converted reactors that may still have HEU or plutonium on site.
