Israel is a nuclear weapon state outside of the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. Its nuclear arsenal was estimated to include about 90 warheads as of 2022.

Israel is still operating the now 50 year old Dimona plutonium production reactor, built for it by France. The reactor may be operated now primarily for tritium production. As of the beginning of 2021, Israel may have a stockpile of about 0.8 ± 0.1 MT of plutonium.

Israel may own about 300 kg of HEU that was diverted from the NUMEC plant in the United States in the 1960s.
