Today, the International Uranium Enrichment Center has three shareholders - Russia (which owns 80% of the shares) and Kazakhstan (10%) were co-founders of the center in 2007, and Ukraine (10%), which joined in October 2010. Armenia initiated the process of joining IUEC in 2008, but it hasn't been completed yet. Mongolia was invited the join the center as well.
South Africa considers joining the Angarsk center
Rosatom and South Africa's Department of Energy will discuss a possibility of South Africa's joining the International Uranium Enrichment Center (IUEC) in Angarsk. According to a press report (via Dan Yurman), this issue will be discussed at the February meeting in Pretoria. According to the report, Russia invited South Africa to join IUEC in May 2010.
