Russia approved Ukraine's joining the center in February 2009, Kazakhstan - in January 2010. Armenia has been in negotiations about joining the Center, but no progress beyond signing an intergovernmental agreement with Russia in February 2008 has been reported.
Ukraine is a full member of the International Uranium Enrichment Center
Ukraine has been formally registered as partner of the International Uranium Enrichment Center. The Ukrainian state concern "Nuclear Fuel" received 10% share in the enterprise after transferring the payment - 2.6 million rubles - to Russia's Rosatom. The deal was registered on October 5, 2010. Rosatom reduced it's share in IUEC from 90% to 80%. Another 10% of shares belong to Kazakhstan.
