The new high-flux research reactor that Russia is building in Gatchina, near St.-Petersburg is facing more delays. It was expected to begin operations in the fall of 2011 (the "physical start-up" was reported to have taken place in February 2011). Now, according to Nuclear.ru, the start-up of the reactor is scheduled to take place in late 2012.
