According to Orano, the 8th shipment of MOX fuel arrived to Japan on 17 September 2022. The shipment included 16 MOX fuel assemblies for units 3 and 4 of the Takahama Nuclear Power Plant of the Kansai Electric Power Company (Kepco).

Previous shipment of MOX fuel took place in November 2021.
