U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission terminated the license to construct the Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility, issued to Areva Enrichment Services in 2008. The termination was requested by Orano USA, successor to Areva. Areva suspended the project in December 2011 and abandoned the project shortly afterward (see the chronology of the project).
