The U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration reported on March 20, 2012 that it has completed removal of all HEU from Mexico. According to the U.S.-Mexico agreement about the transfer, the 10.8 kg of HEU with enrichment of about 70% was contained in fresh and irradiated fuel assemblies of the TRIGA Mark III research reactor operated by the National Institute for Nuclear Research at Ocoyoacac.
