HFR reactor at Petten resumed operations

The High Flux Reactor (HFR) at Petten, the Netherlands resumed operations today after repairs that lasted almost seven months. The reactor was shut down on February 19, 2010. The reactor is one of the largest Mo-99 producers. In 2006 it was converted to LEU fuel.
