China declared no civilian plutonium in 2008 and 2009

International Atomic Energy Agency published the note submitted by China (INFCIRC/549/Add.7/9) that details civilian plutonium holdings in the country. China reported not having separated unirradiated civilian plutonium as of 31 December 2008 and as of 31 December 2008.

Unlike other countries that submit data in accordance with INFCIRC/549 guidelines, China's note does not include data on the amount of plutonium contained in irradiated fuel of civilian power reactors.
